I was born in a barn on December 19, 2001.  I didn't mind living there but I knew the people that owned my mother didn't want any more dogs so it was best that I didn't get to attached to the place.

One afternoon, on February 17, 2002,  the owners loaded me and my brothers and sisters and took us to Wal-Mart where they were hoping someone would take us home.  It was sort of crowded in the shopping cart where they put us and so cold out.  Many people just walked right by us.  I couldn't understand why they didn't want to take one of us home.  We were so cute!

Then out came Shannon, Wes, Preston, Colt and Dusty.  They didn't see us at first and then someone shouted FREE PUPPIES!  They all stopped and started looking us over.  I just knew that I wanted to go home with them.  My owners had the boys sit down and play with me to see if I would like them.  I just jumped all over them.  Next thing I knew was Shannon was carrying me to her car.

The boys and I stayed in the car for awhile so Shannon and Wes could go back into Wal-Mart to buy puppy stuff.  They came out with lots and lots of stuff.  I couldn't wait to get ahold of those bones I could smell.

I really love playing with all of the kids that live here.  The grown up are pretty good also.  They take me everywhere with them.  I don't like living in the cage they have for me.  I overheard them saying something about the cage being a good potty training thing.  I don't have many accidents in the house but when I do I go right back into that cage.  I hope they can see that I am really trying.

I have gotten use to the dog in the back yard.  At first I didn't like him very much.  He seemed so big next to little 'ol me.  He is very friendly.  I use to just bark at him but now I enjoy playing with him.  I think they call him Baby.  I'm not sure why they call him baby when afterall he is bigger than me!

I hope you have enjoyed reading about me.  I will keep you updated...

yelp, woof, growl, bark.
